Ho Ho Silverrrrrrrrr!

So here we are on our noble steeds after our ride. Pretty cute, huh? I'll tell you I was soooooooooo happy when they pulled out these overalls for us to wear. After the ride we went to the hot pools and steam bath. Very nice. The following pictures Steve snapped from the bus on our way home.

Tomorrow morning we leave, so now wash clothes then pack. Oh yes. After our outing we went to the National Museum and then to a craft shop around the corner from our apartment. I bought two beautiful hand knit Icelandic Sweaters.

First day in Reykjavik

We had a great walk around town up to the concrete church. We went to the top for some great pictures. The pond with the ducks is just around the corner from our apartment. The powers that be pump warm water into it to keep it thawed for the ducks and geese. I love these people.

We're here!

We have arrived in Reykjavik. The apartment is lovely. Will take pictures shortly. First we rest and have a cup of tea.

We're on the bus heading to the airport. Starting to feel like a vacation. Weather is fine and no new volcano action. Next stop security and the "Clubhouse"
